Emergency lighting on offshore platforms is of paramount importance. Some offshore facilities are in need of platform emergency lighting upgrades in order to keep within regulatory standards. AdON GROUP has had the privilege to undertake such projects to ensure that these platforms are kept within standard as well as to ensure that the safety of platform personnel is not compromised.
AdON GROUP has performed all engineering designs, procurement and installation for the proper integration of new emergency lighting systems required to adequately illuminate a number of offshore facilities. These designs were done to BS 5266 Standard as well as NFPA 780. In the event of an emergency or total power failure, the emergency lighting system will be activated. This ensures that the designated evacuation escape routes are properly well lit for occupants to reach the life capsules or other evacuation means.
